Final : Bedolaga Metaguild VS Pikatzu Flag

Semi finale : Bedolaga Metaguild VS Aniss Goat X Black Pool

For the first semi-final, two of Cometh Battle’s oldest players faced off with no less than seven different decks in this fast-paced Bo5.

Parasite by Bedolaga Metaguild

Import This Deck

Two decks, same strategy: fill the opponent’s deck with parasites using Invoke Mantis, Deploy Cockroach, Emergency Deployment and One More Thing, while controlling the energy and number of cards played by the opponent with Anti Matter Capsule, Bounty Hunter, You Won’t Need This.
Paraxile will rely on more secrets and rely on its two Exile essence Recycling to overwhelm its opponent on the first rotation of its deck.
Once purged of all its exile cards, the deck will consist of between 15 and 17 cards depending on what Minesweeper has removed from the deck. However, Invasive Plant will punish him severely, especially if he has not managed to put enough parasites into his opponent’s deck.
Bedolaga’s deck is more « control » and will feature Deploy Medic for healing and two Power Generator and Hades for the long game.

Athena Control by Aniss Goat X Black Pool

Juventa by Bedolaga Metaguild

Import This Deck

Obviously Aniss was expecting to face a parasitic deck a second time with his Athena Control deck.
The Athena Orbiter parts are all very strong. Your deck will start with 42 cards which makes you a little less vulnerable to Invasive Plant.
Armed to the teeth to take down all the cockroaches his opponent offers, he even played Barrage Fire of Beeeeeh which will cost him dearly this game! Indeed Bedolaga chooses his signature deck for this tournament, namely Juventa.
Never used in the last few tournaments, this deck is designed to take down the Inferno decks that have outrageously dominated the last few weeks.
Combinations of Juventa, which for the record increases all heals by 2, with Deploy Leech, Deploy War Doctor and Demeters gift are quickly unmanageable for the opponent Deploy Leech allows to inflict damage under the opponent’s shield and has an area damage when it explodes. Moreover, its power gains are static, so it will come back with its death power under Hades.
Deploy War Doctor quickly increases the HP of your orbiters making them harder to take down with damage.
Demeters gift will quickly generate a lot of energy.
And if the opponent has the misfortune to let an Orbiter get too big in HP, Kamikaze will be there to finish him off.

Round 3

Neo City is a parasiti deck that can offer a very impressive burst thanks to Advance Orbiter pilot and Neo City, both of which are cumulative.

Round 4

Parasite by Bedolaga Metaguild

For the fourth game, Aniss chose an Inferno deck – first designed by Must Win | Flag – to beat Bedolaga’s parasitic decks. Aniss was able to further refine it.
Inferno works well against the Cockroach deployed on Emergency Deployement. Yours will be used to deploy Berserk whose power will increase each turn thanks to Inferno. These power points are final, which means that when you play Hades your Berserk will come back with the power they had when they died.
But be careful, your opponent can of course also deploy Berserk!
Now It’s Mine under Inferno makes it easier to take control of your opponent’s orbiters.

Round 5

Juventa by Bedolaga Metaguild

For the fifth game Aniss was caught again with a deck without anti-orbiters by Bedolaga’s Juventa deck. Inferno alone cannot overcome the monstrous HP of the opposing orbiters.

Semi finale : Rasheedzkie Goat X Black Pool VS Pikatzu Flag

Rasheedzkie proves by reaching the semi-final after eliminating Rico and Gonzaga from XBorg that you can do it even without all the cards in the deck. Indeed, he does not have any Invasive Plant in his collection yet.
A semi-final revealing the fairplay spirit of Pikatzu, who faced the connection problems of his opponent waited for him without claiming his turn, which he would have been entitled to do.

Here Rasheedzkie offers a very nice paraxile composition, it is not common to see this kind of game without many ways to hinder the opponent’s energy, there is still Tesseract Donation and Bounty Hunter to slow him down.
Orbiters Training and Arcana synergize very well together: the disable inflicted on your Orbiters in exchange for the boost of the former being neutralized by the latter.
Pikatzu has released an exile deck whose goal is to recycle its deck as fast as possible in order to reach between 14 and 16 cards to be able to play Planetary Support as often as possible while deploying Quantum Locked to speed up the maneuver.

Parasite by Pikatzu | Flag

Pikaztu’s parasitic deck is very strong against other parasitic decks because it has 2 Beeeeeh and 2 Space trash.
The combination of the two is very annoying for parasitic decks that have to waste time destroying sheep and debris to free up space to play new orbiters and damage absorbed by these entities is less damage to you or your orbiters.

Final: Bedolaga Metaguild VS Pikatzu Flag

Pikatzu proved to be the most consistent player this season, winning SECTOR CUP #4 PERSEUS, finishing fourth in SECTOR CUP #3 SAGITTARIUS, finalist in SECTOR CUP #1: CYGNUS and SECTOR MISSION #1 PERIPHERY.
Bedolaga from the Metaguild team is known to be very efficient in major tournaments by studying well the meta to propose good counterplay: his Juventa game is the perfect example.
The final proposed by these two players was up to our expectations. The seven games of Bo7 were necessary to determine the champion.

Bedolaga has slightly modified his Juventa to add 2 Yin because his deck is very vulnerable to Space trash. The Yin also allow to get rid of the 2/4 Coackroach at a lower cost.
